both of them have been flawless atm, but their opponents havent been great
SEN:
they beat NRG which is mid atm
same with KRU
C9 was a cointoss on whether oxy shoots back or not (he didnt)
their last game decides if they're truly back (g2)

FNC:
all of the teams they faced are mid (i thought kc would be a tough game but guess what, theyre mid aswell)
idk if i would put liquid in a good/champs team category

leviatan looked like a strong team in split 1 and fnatic won split 1, but after their performances in shanghai, lev just faced either mid teams or burnout teams, fnatic lost matches against the strong teams aswell

imma copypaste what I told to another guy

if you think lev played well in split 1 you're crazy...
vs C9: trash
vs SEN: aspas hard carried
vs NRG: they played like shit, lev just punished them
vs G2: they still were not at their best and still took a map
vs KRÜ: yeah Lev peaked here
vs 100T: my eyes bled
vs KRÜ again: actually bad game from two teams, lev just had better aim
vs G2 again: worst bo5 of the year

Lev was playing with Goked playstyle, Tex and c0m played so bad and Mazino hella inconsistent, there were SO much basic gameplay holes that they just didnt fixed

now Lev has a much clearer and more aggressive playing style, Tex is in his best form, he adapted well to the role, Mazino is at his peak and c0m provides very good utility, even now he is showing that he can still come back to hit shots

yeah Lev isn't the same, they played terrible in split 1 so in masters and now they're better.

now about FNC...

Fnatic started the year playing like in 2023, it looked like if they didnt work anything in offseason, wtf were that comps...
In split 2 they still were doing the same but with Leo back on prime, more innovative teams like Heretics, FUT and NAVI won easily vs them.
In playoffs they won vs a terrible Liquid, a lost Karmine Corp and lost vs Heretics who were destroying everyone
Imagine if fnatic faced Fut and NaVi in playoffs like heretics did... they already lost vs them, maybe FNC would not have qualified to Shangai in that case. The grand final doesnt matters at all, the teams dont show anything new and just play as normal. Also Leo was a fkin demon and made them win
In shangai, Fnatic dragged the same shit that I mentioned, really easy to read comps and passive playstyle :/

Now, in split 2 FNC started showing some really good comps changes, they are improving on game tempo, they know when to play aggressive and when to play slow, doing some really good fast macros and winning rounds. Anyways I think they're still not as good as they could (also Leo isn't here, even with Hiro playing good, they need him) but the recent game vs Karmine Corp is easily their peak in this year, that Heaven comp is fire and they execute it so damn good and they have a good read in general...

IMO both teams can make top 8 at champs bc now they're showing more solid, hopefully Leo is back if they qualify
