GENG safest champions route

Suppose GENG lost against TS, then:

If GENG won v RRQ, they will face PRX later meaning one of them will go to Champions through Playoff. And the other one basically secured Champions through Circuit Points.

If RRQ won, and PRX messed up in the playoff, then GENG will be finished (which is impossible to happen) lol

unless prx is a dickhead. but it is still a good strat though by eliminating one of your strongest opponents in champions.

You are right, but if I’m not wrong as long as Gen.G wins against TS today they are guaranteed champions through points no matter what (16 points), PRX has 14 currently and even if they win today it will be (15 points).
But if Gen.G loses but PRX wins today they tie 15 points. And one of them have to top 3 for the other to secure champs.

So the safest is actually winning today.

if prx wins this vs zeta they will get 2 points ( 1 for win + 1 for Topping the regular stage ) and prx has better h2h record against GenG if it is a tie between GenG and Prx, prx will make it to champs

In the first scenario, geng will still get to play one more game (lower bracket) where they need to win only one to Qual for champs

Yeah, that's why it is the safest route for them. Even if they lose in upper v PRX and in the lower, it will be fine for them because they already sent prx to champions and no one could come close to their points

ok then, what if PRX won their match either against RRQ or Gen G that's make them as part of TOP 3 right?? But they are already qualified for VCT Champions, what will happen on that scenario? someone enlighten me

Then Gen.G will automatically qualify to champs whether they have placement or not as they have the highest points.

PRX wins against RRQ/Gen.G = Top 3

Next in line to qualifies through points will be Gen.G (15pts)—if they lose to RRQ or if they win against RRQ but loses to PRX and also loses their lowers match (does not make top 3). No matter what, Gen.G is guaranteed champs as long as PRX makes top 3.

But if Gen.G makes top 3 as well, the next in line would be DRX (10pts) to qualify through points, if DRX makes top 3 as well, it will be TS to qualify through points (8pts).
