10 and 12 circuit points while drx at 6 so theyre pre much guaranteed to go champs aye? (cuz either one is gonna win apac n the other can just qual w circuit points if they wanted)
It's crazy that this year's format is so bad that there is a possibility (although extremely unlikely) where Gen.G don't make Champions though.

VLR doesn't have a live update of the points, so these numbers are more accurate.
Currently, Gen.G have 15 points and PRX have 14. So the following would have to happen for GEN to NOT make champs despite winning Kickoff, placing 2nd at Madrid, and winning Shanghai:
This leaves PRX with 16 points, compared to GEN's 15 points, meaning PRX would be the 4th team to qualify for Champs.
Not sure actually, but my guess is PRX would go through in the event of a tie. PRX have the better regular season record, map differential, and round differential, in addition to winning the regular season head-to-head matchup. I agree though with your later comment, you would think winning a Masters event should supersede all the regular season stuff.
But same, I doubt any of this actually happens, but the fact that it's a possibility is wild not gonna lie
I'm confused with the Champ points. Let's say #1 PRX then #2 GenG in terms of points.
Example Scenario:
If PRX qualified by winning the Playoffs(with most Champ Points), but GenG(#2nd in Champ points) lost in single elim bracket what happens to GenG?
Would they qualify to Champs because they have the 2nd highest champ points and PRX already qualified? Or the #1 only matters?
