In all fairness he probably is the closest though. He just has to keep up the level of play for a decent length of time.

The trouble with repeating M0nesy's career is you have to be a prodigy at 13 and be groomed for 5 years to replace the best player in the world then play for another team because the worlds best just refused to retire or fall off.

tbh M0NESY has an insane in-game IQ and spatial awareness, I think he's much better than Oxy in that aspect
Oxy will keep getting better with more experience but M0NESY is already pretty much a top-3 player in the world, we'll see if Oxy can get to the same level in Valorant

I think it's the game being different too, OXY is a Val duelist, his role is to hunt and kill people in straight up duels, he is not expected to do a lot with his Util other than create immediate space/damage.

M0nesy is a CS awp so he has to plan out his rotations and util a lot so that he can get the most chances at firing off a shot without getting caught out, he's more likely to be independent on the map rather than surrounded by supporting util.

m0nesy game IQ is divine, people calls zywoo the biggest genius in the game but i dare say m0nesy outsmarts him because m0nesy sometimes does outside of the box plays that i dont think other player could

probably the closest thing that the game has to Monesy is Oxy, fast and sharp, but if Monesy starts playing Val, give him one year and he might be the goat of Valo also. S1mple was destroying Immo lobbies playing solo Reyna, with no team coordination.

Who is good at cs can be good in any fps and m0nesy is smart and very focused in what he does/to be the best, he would understand val mechanics easy
