Single Elim will always be the best. Thats why the world cup football is goated. If they had double elim it would be a snooze fest
im sure its definitely not because humans cant handle playing double fucking elimination in sports but yeah ig
nobody cares if we make a bunch of nerds sit down and click heads for a few more hours
They have single elims in football because there's almost no variables to sway results. It's not snowbally, and it's not nearly as unpredictable in the way it can play out. Trust me, if football had different terrains and players had superpowers with ways to combo them, there would be double elim
i mean its just the WC
most football tournaments are only single elim at the semis or finals
double elim in video games makes sense because you get more matches with almost no strain on the player.. trust me if FIFA could profit off of more matches they would.. theyre trying to make it every 2 years too
yeah single elim is 100% the main reason lock\in was a bad format not
no group stage/swiss stage
only took 5 matches to qualify for and win an event total, least of any event ever
(for reference you needed to play minimum 9 and maximum 13 to win madrid)
100T and Talon got top 8 at that event, and they didn't even make regional playoffs in the split
edit: "to win" -> "to qualify for and win"
only took 5 matches to win the event total, least of any event ever

teams can win masters in 4 series
yeah AT THE EVENT dumbass....
there's this thing called regional games
FNC played 16 games to win tokyo
Nope, They only played 4 series at Tokyo to win it.
Masters =/= Regional matches
No, they matter but you saying 5 matches to win an event is the least we've seen. That is wrong. Teams won an Event in 4 series.
Tokyo masters is the event, The regional split before is it owns seperate event
kekw fnatic superteam so bad cant even qualify for a mickey mouse. SHITMEA 0 team region
The only mickey mouse we can even call is the lock in 2023 cause that wasn't even a masters.
Mickey Mouse Madrid = 8 teams, 4 teams playoffs
Real Masters = 12 teams, 8 teams playoffs
8 in the the playoff but 4 of them got direct invited and 3/4 of them are now in the lower bracket lol
sure real master
I know what you're trying to say but you dont understand the point. SEN didn't even make it to Shanghai, lmfao lets stop talking.

same vibes. madrid and lock in = micheal mouse
Simply put, would you rather be entertained by a total of 16 matches or 24 matches? Easy to understand now yea
