honestly its not really chinese hate. its more lack of education and generalisation and lack of understanding. its hard for people to understand why the word hater is like bad. and its also hard for people to think from the chinese peoples perspective regarding the geng issue. in the end we all human and react similarly when something we are proud of is attacked.

i mean the mods are active as hell removing the racist ones. ive seen a fair few. i agree but from the chinese perspective what geng did is a slander on their sovereignty which you can argue is right or wrong really doesnt matter rn. the general simplification of the situation dipicts one side as blanketly bad which is a bad way to combat the situation. for the zekken thing weird choice of language which was made much worse through translation resulting in a nationalistic response. if kangkang said he was a america's hater people probs would be spamming "where's your trophy u shitter" and probably making fun of him even if he like zekken in this situation had no malicious intent.
