how do they decide who will play who cause the top4 might have overlapping preferences
exactly my question, what if two teams try to pick the same team or something like that
there is a draw, whoever gets drawn first will get to select the team they want to play first
then second, third, etc
would be unfair for the last team no?? it wont be a choice for them no more
unfair because they got unlucky sure, but thats just how it goes, anyway all the #1 seeds have an advantage
i really dont get the choosing the opponents rule, just makes the first pick lucky and last pick unlucky, they could've drawn the teams like they did for round 1
Still a game of chance though. Even if they do a normal draw, one team gets randomly paired with the easiest opponent. Now, they still get randomly selected to be the 1st team to pick and they'll choose the easiest team. Only thing different is the shit-talking if they end up losing.
it'll be a game of chance but atleast it wont be "choosing your opponents" kinda thing they're trying to do now

I disagree. I don't think 1st seed teams would want to pick the easiest opponent because that just diminishes their reputation. Also, challenges are fun and I'm sure that's something the players and teams agree with.
nah making im sure they'd rather make it farther in the tournament than face tougher opponents later on. Last year Fnatic was the only team EG struggled with.But they got knocked out by LOUD, so EG didnt have to worry abt that later on
I get what you're saying but I know some of those teams are going to want to pick a harder opponent.
I imagine the 1st seeds send representative to the drawing and when their team got picked, they choose their opponent on the spot
or maybe they just send a list of preference and 1st seeds pick their first team on the list
one way can be to allot certain points (lets say 1000) and each 1 seed can allot points on the basis of teams they wanna play (out of 4 making it to playoffs).
4 team will bo1 and will have mini grandfinals , the winners will choose to pick from 2nd seed pick
