WeDid was originally benched from NRG about a month ago, which was the first announcement the organization had made since signing him in late June. During his time with NRG, WeDid and company found a top-eight finish in the NSG Summer Championship Open 11 and a second place finish in the NSG Summer Championship in late August. That event was also the last time that NRG was seen in an official tournament.

The next time NRG will be able to play in official VCT tournaments will be 2022.

+Steel seems like the most logical move.
I still feel the roster has some agent overlap (ANDROID on 2nd duelist pushes s0m to controller) that kinda holds them back, even if s0m has improved as a controller.
Hopefully they get back to where they were before Daps left

I agree with the Steel part, its definitely reasonable if they pick him up
but S0m is great at controller agents, just ppl dont see it cuz they are used to watching him play duelist on stream. (To put it in context, Wedid swapped roles to sentinel to keep s0m on smokes)

Good player, but he just didn't fit with NRG's system. He's a controller, not a sentinel, and there wasn't anyone that played pure sentinel on NRG, so they kept slotting literal duelists into sentinel.
