Because timezones and you can't change that. The games have always been in the afternoon to midnight in local time in any LAN tournaments probably to ensure the health and performance of the pros
thats true we cant change that we just need to accept it really, its bs to say "viewership!" or bring some other bs excuse to justify making yourself the center
the world doesnt revolve around us and some ppl cant accept that
might just be me but i dont want to watch the second match of any starting day i´d rather watch lev vs geng and t1 vs g2 which are the teams i care about
Even still, I've got work in the morning. I can't really stay up for a match that starts at 1 am and likely won't finish for multiple hours after. I'm just gonna watch the vods after
People taking timezones personally here lol. Viewership in China will be the same more or less the same regardless of the time of the day. But trying to cater to the NA audience is objectively the better decision.
Riot cares about their global fanbase. Valorant is and can easily become the top shooter game in asia. Having that is extremely important to them, they dont care about now they are planning for the future hence why they are willing to give their biggest audience the short end of the stick
Oh, I agree. And it is good for the overall game. But you do think that keeping games at 10 am there will affect the viewership that much from the region?
This whole ish reminds of the track athlete who sent for… I don’t remember specifics but in general about nba champs calling themselves world champs… same vibes
They are just hosting events everywhere. I don't know why you are crying about it. I'm sure when it was in America, many APAC/Chinese viewers were watching it without crying. I'm not happy with the timing either, but seriously, you cry a lot.
Because the time that matters is the one of the event?
Why tf would you wake the player at midnight to play just so some obese nerd can be comfortable watching the stream
