okay thank you for answering my first question. they are better with their main player and would have done better in groups with their main player 😭

they were good enough to make playoffs and are currently a top 3 team, if a top 3 team makes the playoffs they should be able to qualify so long they beat the teams 4th and below.

rn lets say navi is second best and beats heretics (3rd), heretics wouldnt make it despite being a top 3 team because the groups are unbalanced and the playoffs only have half a lower bracket

I'm not a fan of this format to be clear, but at the same time, the game is the game. Everyone is playing the format too, and imo, Talon is the only real loser of this format.

yes everyone is playing the format and some teams are winners and some are losers. fnatic is a winner, loud since madrid has been a winner.

last year they werent this many teams whos international participation was left up to chance, the teams they draw and the groups they have been given

format would be more or less fine if there was a lower bracket, and fans have a right to complain

But every format is going to have problems though. No matter what riot chooses to do, there's always something that could make it more difficult for a team. It sucks for heretics, having roster issues, but at the same time, Loud had problems and still made playoffs. TH is good enough to win against NAVI. Excuses don't cut it for the best teams.

and th navi and fut were the ones to get affected by it
