No, he did not say that. He said that furia last year had players that were far more individually talented than his current roster and if they had been able to work together, they'd have been able to win something. Obviously this talon roster would crush furia of last year, because the furia of last year did not work well as a team. But that doesn't mean he's wrong in what he said, you all are just mischaracterizing/completely changing what he actually said.
