No, have you seen the format? The top from each group only have to win one game to go to shanghai because they get seeded to the upper semis.
did i word it weird? i mean if you think about it 2 teams in the same group can go the whole split unbeaten yet 1 will face elimination match directly, like if prx didnt lose to ts both drx and prx would be unbeaten yet only 1 gets the 1st seed

I guess the format is a little weird but also you need to remember if 2 teams are going 5-0 or 6-0 in the same group, then most likely the teams in the other group don't have at least 3 teams with over 2 wins so more teams from one group make it. Riot tried to balance the groups but its tough when it's so unpredictable.
very possible to happen where the other group have 3 teams with more than 2 wins if the unbeatens are in the group with 5 teams, like literally if you give the ts vs prx game to prx, that's what happens, the format is just in shambles, though to be fair it is hard to make a format where it can truly be fair for such a schedule
technically, 6 teams could go unbeaten if they all beat all their opponent in the opposite group
this wont be happen, the best case is 4 team in same group go to playoff because the opposite group didnt qualify the rules (minimum 2 win)
no actually it can happen theoretically, the announcement didn't say the rule only applies for 3rd placed team - meaning if the 1st placed team didn't win 2 matches, the whole other group goes thru

Yeah that is technically possible and actually idk how it would work really thinking about it. If Group Omega all won 0 games idk who would make it through because you need 6 teams and there’s only 5 on group Alpha
