I know someone above linked an answer but I'm 90% sure it's wrong. The answer that's like 153 or whatever is it going up by 105% every day instead of 5%.
thats the number of mangoes harvested each day, to get the total for 5 days you have to add it up. or at least i think thats what the question is asking. if it asked for the amount of mangoes harvested ON the 5th day it would be 36, but it says kilos IN 5 days

30(1.05)^i is the number of mangoes harvested in a day where i is the day number (i = 0 is the first day, when its 30kg mangoes)
To get the number of mangoes harvested across 5 days, you just add up the amount harvested on each day.
30(1.05)^0 + 30(1.05)^1 + 30(1.05)^2 + 30(1.05)^3 + 30(1.05)^4 = 165.77
