Riot games is a scam company that create rigged games and cognitively enslave their players base using propaganda, deny, misinformation and astroturfing.

Riot games make appears their games like they are fair and competitive sport when they are not. They are rigged at every level of design to manipulate players decisions, behavior and emotions to make them addict and chase indefinitely an artificial rank.
In addition they are also manipulated to maximize their spending via skins, smurf accounts, boost and scripts that are sold by riot themselves.

Riot games are business and not sport like riot want you to believe.

Ranks, matchmaking & character mechanics are rigged.

Professional players and streamers are shown as insane but are, in fact, riot boosted and put in comfortable lobbies to show how much fun the game is most of the time and to show a seemingly acquirable sense of control about the game.
While the average user experience will be nothing close to these lobbies not necessarily because of a lack of skill.
Riot purposely boost or curbs players performance by modifying in game mechanics in real time and by rigging matchmaking, to maximize engagement and spending.
For some players, the game doesn't allow spells combos at the same speed as for other players, or even the interactions between spells and champions are changed from game to game, in order to benefit a player /a team compared to the others. Or even depending on the game, your champions are more or less manageable and will sometimes not execute your inputs, or very slowly/off timing or enhance skill shot precision, avoid certain spells on their own or, conversely, correct their trajectory despite the inputs in order to get hit by the spell. It can change an auto attack command to a move command.
Also the game can change in game parameters by itself during games. It can disconnect a player when a team gets an advantage they shouldn't. It can also freeze your screen for half a second when the enemy engages.
And that's just the tip of the iceberg.
Whereas their matchmaking is so powerful that it could always make the fairest 45minutes games you could ever play, instead riot matchmaking purposely create unfair games by building teams with big mmr difference, playstyle, counter playstyle and autofill. In addition it purposely creates compatible/incompatible teams based on same criterias.
It can put players in a scripter queue to push people to buy scripts. LP gain and losses are also rigged.
Now by artificially and unfairly stucking players and by intentionally creating poor quality matches, they have created a huge demand for smurf accounts, boost and scripts that they will create themselves, it's easy for them, and then resell them.
That is their free to play business model.

Near misses : after being stuck for a while at the 4th division you will suddenly experience good teamates with good cohesion for several dozen of games and get a sudden climb from 4th division into the 1st division. Then the matchmaking will flip and you'll get back to the 4th division.
In gambling : "Near-miss events, where unsuccessful outcomes are proximal to the jackpot, increase the desire to play."

High ranks are totally artificials for pros and streamers alike and to make it look like a very skillful game while above a certain threshold it's mostly a game of chance.

Riot created ideas like low elo, to lower 99.9% of their players self esteem and to make them chase indefinitely a rank to not be low anymore (get good).
Riot comunicate about Dunning Kruger effect so people that question matchmaking fairness are now mocked as incompetent.
Toxicity, while league of legends community is seen as the worst community in gaming, riot keep denying their responsibility and blame the players instead. While it's their rigged and unfair games that bring this level of toxicity much higher than in any other competitive games.
No transparency over matchmaking, mmr and pro scene. They could chose to make a transparent simple and non abusable matchmaking and rank system, like in any sport where everybody know the rules, instead they prefer to hide and control everything.
Scripts are riot made because they use server-side data to know the trajectory of spells, even when cast without vision or in fog of war. So riot are accomplices.
Matchmaking and ranks is a mystical religion that is interpreted differently by rioters themselves, show that it is a well hidden secret even for rioters themselves.
Spaghetti code, supposedly their games are spaghetti coded so you won't imagine how much computation is behind the scene.
The game was never close to be balanced, and will never be because it is only made to make players hooked and it is far easier to control games outcome by knowing how match up will interact with great certainty.
Astroturfing : Riot employs an army of trolls on social networks, to gaslight and manipulate players into more playing and to control information, reddit is full of them.

Their tools : EOMM - AI Adaptive gameplay - Behavioral modeling - Streamer/pro lobby - Perception management

I am thinking you are on a loosing streak. I had a loosing streak of 23 while I was in s2 (straight went to i3). I felt the same way as you back then.
The part where you said "Streamers are put in comfortable lobbies" might not be true, cause there are literally thousands of players and streamers out there who can't get out of bronze lobbies just like everyone else. Streamers get views because they actually play good. It's not because they get "Comfortable lobbies".

Other than that, it disconnects you from the game because YOU HAVE POOR NETWORK CONNECTION!!!
As for smurfs, it can't be helped. They will go places to make themselves feel good after losing many matches in there own lobbies 🤡

As for toxicity, what I generally do is I stay calm in the most toxic situations as well for example, "You mofu can't even aim" "Sorry I will try better next round" . Staying calm and cheering teammates helps A LOT!!!!

I also have confirmed through extensive amounts of data that there is indeed a factor which will make Bronze players face Plats/Emeralds/Golds and even Master players occasionally. There is always huge differences in my games on my first account which has every item in the game. I barely got to bottom of silver... On my other account with few skins, I instantly shot up to Platinum. The thing I mostly encounter the most is that enemy team will always have another lane that completely destroys our laner and takes over the game. I have faced some of the best players I've ever seen on my Bronze account. Its nice for learning the hardway. Bad for climbing. I can't climb on that just because we are getting consistent bronzes on our team, with full team of golds on their side.

Its almost like...
a Bronze player needs to face plats to get to silver.
But 2nd account doesnt have to face higher ranked players just to raise up a little...
Its not a skill issue... its a matchmaking issue at least enough to focus on it... many people respond with "ignore it" "fight past it" but thats just ignoring the truth, which is vital to objectively improving at life and understanding. Ignoring these issues is just copium with us not being able to understand or control this wildly varying hidden variable. But understanding it, and how to abuse it is just another mechanic in the game. There is a system that can likely be trained, and I've heard about and experimented with it :

Try quitting out and not playing anymore for a few days on an account... every time you get a 5 bronze vs gold/gold/plat/emerald/gold... or an impossible game where you couldnt even learn it was so unbalanced. The game seems to react to keep you playing more... and it will not give those types of matches as often if you can train it with this type of "negative feedback"... its not magic, its just an algorithm.

This system of course leads to people having multiple smurf accounts each... optimally it could be 3-4 people would have just to be able to avoid inflated/deflated accounts.. and people like to have skins when they play... so thats alot of money that Riot wouldnt have made otherwise. Riot never cracks down on smurfing because its half of their money. Makes sense logically, and from experience, and from experiences and knowledge of others.

Oh but on my 2nd new, Platinum account.... I never saw anything besides my own same ranking as I climbed. It was always 5bronze vs 5 bronze... then 5 silvers vs 5 silvers... and then it was 5 golds vs 5 golds...

I've had 2000+ games on each account... but one is Bronze vs Emerald and other is Plats vs Plats as a rule of thumb. All of my friends can't play with me on my Bronze account but on my Platinum account we have a great time. The MMR range between each accounts teams has too large of a delta to ignore.

Its just too bad I don't have skins on my plat account...

I feel this too and I come from CS where consistency is key to get to the top. The inconsistencies in aiming, ability use, mechanics in Valorant I feel like it is deliberately made due to balancing system to not be too harsh on the casual noobs so that it maximizes their time in playing the game and in return to make them spend money in it.

This isn't even a joke anymore, the game feels blatantly rigged. Even the agents delivers subliminal messages about the game system. For example:

  1. "An injured dog bites hard" - Cypher, = low HP enemies are more difficult to hit. For chance and balance, your crosshair simply repels away from the enemy body, no matter what sensitivity.
  2. "One dream ends, another begins" - Fade = talking about the comeback feature. One team stops winning, the other team starts winning.
  3. "Even with numbers, anything can still happen..." - Sage = most of the time the clutching player is favored. This is a feature to increase dopamine levels after a clutch. Dopamine release is the best way to keep players addicted to the game, in hoping that they spend skins. This explains why clutches are so common in the game, even your disabled mate can get away with some foul gameplays sometimes.
  4. "Hey, who has a good song for.. we were losing but now things are looking up, you know like uh, redemption arc(?) (retention arc?)" - Iso = Come back is a feature in this game.
  5. "they only see what I want them to see" - Cypher = talks about the desync feature so it messes up the winning team (hitbox, roza ult, player animation etc.) These manipulations are all hidden without the replay system to get rid of the evidence, which obviously the reason why there is no replay system available.

Forced maps: the reason why we cannot pick maps in the game because it is designed to prevent players from becoming bored quickly, because allowing players to choose maps could lead to repetitiveness, making the experience less engaging over time. By shuffling maps, the game maintains variety and freshness, supporting player retention and helping to maximize the player base and revenue.

Now you may ask why pro players never seem to address this. It's because they've signed contracts prohibiting them from speaking about the rigged system, with the threat of lawsuits if they do. Even Reddit posts discussing this gets deleted instantly (and let's not forget, Tencent, a chinese major gaming company, owns 5% of Reddit).

I dont know what those lol terms are but in every act I start out by losing 2-3 ranks because of losing queue then I will get magically good teammates and go back to my peak rank and maybe get a new peak

i dont think they nerf your agents' spells but i think if game wants you to lose, they will put you in the team with a lower MMR

I played cs and faceit for years and the games never felt as scripted as they do in valorant

in cs most of the time if i lost it was because I had a lot of things I could have done better, but in valorant solo carrying is so hard when your team is just worse than the other team

Same I've played ESEA, Faceit, Valve MM for years and very high elo in both CS and Valorant, I have 10+ accounts peaked Immortal 2/3.

Don't get me wrong, I love this game but sometimes it gets to your nerves because you know when the match is rigged for you to lose and you can't really do anything about it. For example in those matches you're bottom fragging and you hold an angle and can't even kill at a player whos shift peeking even without using utility. Now your enemy blames you for having skill issue where you know that same player got sht on by the same you on another account. This also happens when you smurf suggesting that it is a feature and not really a skill issue, rather a whiff / desync feature to provide fairness.

In CS you can control your team, for example you can solo carry do smart plays but in Valorant on the other hand, sometimes you can only frag when your whole team is dead. And sometimes you try to do a smart play in valorant but your crosshair whiffs just because the enemy is not looking at you. How stupid is that?

I guess the subtle whiff feature is only noticed by the experienced FPS players. Why can you shoot an enemy doing popping peek after a burst? But when you hold the spray of a minecraft recoil your crosshair just will not be on the enemy (even with a very high sensitivity). Players that mostly denies these type of stuff are usually casual low elos that cannot tell a difference when the crosshair is not moving 1-1 with mouse input. Well I guess that's a success from Riot, where most revenue is coming from.
