if you're going to use the dumb argument, riot had such a shit kickoff format, Kickoff groups was to eliminate all of the shit teams (C9, FURIA, 100T) meaning if your team was actually good and spent their time in the offseason grinding maps, this would not be hard, the draw was very fucked for teams like SEN 100T I do admit. Play-In seperated the teams who made it into play-in because of matchups with a good team etc Furia played C9 and MIBR both shit teams but so is Furia. G2 had a easy group but lost, then losing to SEN making SEN go to playoffs, and the argument NRG should've won Sunset it's in the past it doesnt matter if you think they should've SEN were also using a new Sunset comp aswell, Then to Madrid I really liked swiss stage the matchups were pretty even besides FPX, draw was shit, SEN played KC(2-0) and TH (2-1). Seperated all the good teams from the great teams and playoffs, PRX showed up vs LOUD but didn't vs SEN, SEN handeled LOUD as expected then played Gen.G and got wiped off earth, beat PRX in Lowers and winning in a close series vs Gen.G. Meaning IF your team did not take offseason seriously like Gen.G LOUD SEN and PRX RIOT punished it, blame your teams not riot

Stupid take, teams have worked just as hard as SEN have been and just because SEN won Afreeca doesn't change that fact at all. NRG could've scrimmed 10x harder than SEN the second they got their roster complete but we wouldn't know that, but yet you're insisting on pushing this stupid narrative because teams aren't vocal about their offseason work as much as SEN has been. You're undermining literally every team not named GENG, LOUD, SEN, and PRX in terms of their practice regime.
well ur right and sort of missing the point.Its not like teams didnt work hard.Im sure they worked hard,but the duration.Like nrg roster was literally made like a month and half before kickoff.So it all comes to the duration.I think the point he was trying to make every team has worked hard.But sen has been working hard for like 6+ months if that makes sense.
