how to fix smurfing rito

can't they just make it so if you want to play ranked you need to have a verified phone number like they do in premier? seems like an easy fix to reduce the amount of smurf accounts and saves ranked from the throwers and people who can't play in their own elo from making 10 alt accounts without a care in the world and throwing/carrying enemy team.

and before someone says not everyone has a phone we have this thing called parents and they (usually) have two phones which means you can make 2 accounts so unless your a family of 5 your good anyways.

thats literally the problem people who are too high ranked or can't do good in their own rank just go into lower elo and smurf in that elo. Just imagine if that was you on the other side getting pooped on by a reyna going 37/6 with absolutely no counterplay since your teammates don't know how to react to someone who is 10 times better than you. There is also something called unrated and I know that its much more boring than ranked but its still a good way to play with friends plus five stacking still exists

sometimes when i smurf its pretty easy and u just build a shit ton of momentum
other times when i smurf its harder than u think because ur team offers u no support and sometimes the enemy does some stupid random shit

i just play with my friends and run it down, literally average 25 deaths a game, it's so unfun playing against brainless fingerless players

usually I either 5 man or play unrated
but i guess it depends how your friends are as well because my bros don't care much about their ranks so they don't require any boosting services

they would still need the phone/a phone no? no one is gonna put some fishy sms card into their phone they got off the market for like 2 dollars unless they hella desperate

don't really know how it works since you would need the phone or sms card to even verify your account but I wouldn't be surprised if it was real. plus even then it would reduce the amount of smurf accounts a lot since not everyone is gonna try and go to some fishy website and buy a phone number

true but if i really wanted to smurf i can just smurf for 0.50$ lol
also theres the thing that a lot of younger kids (aged like 12-13) who are not legally allowed to play valorant (16+) chances are they dont own a phone and chances are their parents cant be bothered to put their phone number down. However using SMS can probably get rid of bots programmed to level up accounts tho.

yeah i guess but still in this day of age its really easy to just ask your parent for their phone and 9/10 times they don't care and just let you use it if you just don't do anything bad with it plus it would basically kill the market for alt accounts that people want to buy
