Back in 2022 when Derrek mvped LCQ, people immediately made threads claiming he was the worlds best initiator or at least top 3
He then proceeded to do nothing special and get grouped and looked mediocre through all of 2023

People overreact way too much over one tourney, genuinely thinking demon1 is shit, Alfajer and Leo are washed, boaster should be kicked, navi are all frauds, mako is ass, etc

Reminder that at lock-in, EG couldn’t beat talon esports but went on to 2nd place Tokyo and win champs, let’s not lose our minds after like 5 matches

I don’t think derke is as good as an entry/duelist as Aspas, especially on raze
Derke is a very good chamber though and comparable as a star player, but Aspas has better positioning so I think he’s a better duelist player

Well I don't exactly like to argue in this way, but you did just compare them..

On a more serious note, I do agree that aspas is a one of a kind player, but derke isn't a worse entry than him. I'd even say it's the one thing he actually does better than aspas. I do agree that aspas' positioning is really smart though, especially on defense side
