you're not entirely incorrect but i think people wanted changes to the coaching staff and not the roster, i think people had confidence in the 5 to some extent but they were becoming too rigid in terms of their playstyle and strats. their attempts to try to be more free flowing backfired tremendously (e.g.: termi not calling timeouts so his players could "figure things out") as well so it makes sense for the coach to take the fall for coaching problems and not really the players
