anyone know like im talking about the best in the world an igl mastermind
Boaster doesn't perform under pressure tho. He also has an over reliance on protocols/setups and it's shown in previous fnc iterations. The amount of fragging he's also had access too for all his time in valorant is a huge part as to why he's seen as such a good igl.
Fns is honestly very similar I mean look at how absolutely dismantled he was by blg and how he just couldn't find a way to completely switch up the way the team played to accommodate for that.
In all seriousness I don't think the actual best igl is in saadhak boaster or fns, I think its probably in some lesser team that doesn't have insane fragging players but still competes. Off the top of my head I'd immediately say some EU team like maybe atakaptan since he looks like he keeps such a good leash on every player on FUT and brought once mediocre players into real tier 1 contention.
Well never know tho tbf
Nah I'd say stax is very clearly horrendous at adapting and anti, he's shown time and time again to fail when it comes to adapting to teams like optic who change up the moment they lose a round, he's very similar to angel, they just don't have enough ideas and maybe it's cause they don't have access to good second callers like fns and boaster do
Just know, saadhak was nothing without aspas(look at 2021,2020), FNS was nothing without yay(2021,2020, decent 2023?). Now does that make Boostio and the upcomers a good IGL? nah, Boostio was nothing without Demon1. I would say Boaster is the best proven based on how many rosters he's played on and different variations but then again he has Derke. IGLs can't carry they can just be capable and unlock players. An IGL is only as good as the main duelist they have. Look at Vanity with Shopify rebellions and now with C9 when he has OXY.
I'm talking about world-class level top 3 in masters/champs events. Idc if he dominated Brazil, nobody is saying Stax is the best IGL in the world even though they consistently outshine all the Korean teams. Saadhak's Vikings used very outdated comps and simply did not have the structure Saadhak needed to succeed.
tbf xeppa had such a bad series that game and honestly wasn't his usual self which sucks. I still think an IGL is only just as good as their duelists/team. Shahz was the greatest IGL when he had the best core 5 at the time, same with Redgar. This year will prove if Saadhak is a good IGL or if he just had the perfect pieces and everything worked in harmony.
Realistically, it's still Boostio. He's the most recent championship IGL. You can't look at his performance (which was not even bad) from an event with no impact on VCT. The reality is 100T likely didn't go very deep into the strategy pool (which was basic anyway boostio and ziks just got there). Why would they show their cards? 100T gained useful LAN experience with Boostio at this event and I think that was the goal. Stop overreacting.
i mean top three undisputed are saadhak fns and boaster, considering their results and just how they call in general. they all have different styles of calling that can make or break a game, so it's incredibly hard to judge based solely on igl skill considering you would have to know what they're trying to call and know what's going on in their minds
