This is some serious shit

Have you guys ever encountered with people of your own country who in the name of trying to be unbiased literally starts hating teams & individuals from their country & always pass demotivating comments on them? I have found a lot of them not only here but also in chess where if an individual from india loses to some guy they start trash talking about them & tell us how they don't deserve to be there but at the same time they don't appreciate them when they do good they either just stop chatting or make excuses like it was just a fluke.

no i am ... dude trashes on his country so much just to look cool and woke to the foreign users. Like i understand some indian fans are braindead and overhype their teams / players but that doesnt mean you have to trash on them yourself too as at the end of the day its not those players at fault , atleast they are giving their best to improve our scene instead of just sitting on the couch and preaching . Having a bit of faith or supporting the underdog is only gonna improve their confidence and help them more than demotivating or trolling them.

Kinda me....
But i appreciate the team when they win...
Eg :- GE when they qualified for APAC i was so happy and proud but then i saw ppl overhyping them so much and jus think GE aint good enough YET to win LCQ cuz i have seen VODS of other SEA/KR teams and they are so much more mechanically skilled...but GE are only getting better from here...
But some ppl (SOME VLT fans) are there who say GE qualifying was "underserved" which i surely think what ur talking about

ikr the overhyping is real but also its not the player or teams who are at fault . For example Rossi himself said that he is an unproven player and no where neaar the NA/EU pros. So there is no point in trolling them. Rest when it comes to GE in APAC , a little bit of optimism and support wont hurt any1 . Considering how much of a confidence game valorant is , one will only perform worse if they already come with a defeated attitude even before the game has started.
