Guys this is EWC same as red bull or SOOP but just a bigger prizepool.
EMEA is the only region to not have won a single trophy in 2024 and 2025 internationally in VCT
Every region has won besides EMEA
Team Heretics also got grouped so they had plenty of time to prepare and still couldn't win smh

I'll address the first point, second one doesn't even make sense cause every team is in the same situation so it doesn't matter

Prize pool was good. Teams were good. But that's pretty much all this tournament has going for it.

Format is bad (online qualifiers + BO1), schedule is horrible, meta was rolled back, not part of the champions bracket (no points or prestige), production horrible, teams playing on the same day, and honestly I could go on

Not mickey mouse, but not at level of any masters is completely fair imo

i understand it has its flaws but look at madrid and bangkok. it was so much easier to win those then ewc. u cant not count this as a trophy

wdym, it's not mickey mouse but it's not the level of masters. There's a lot of things wrong with this tournament besides level of teams + prizepool (which are the only thing this tournament has going for it).
