Downplaying Fnatic victories/trophies

Whats up with the downplaying of victories and trophies of teams? i have seen so many people downplay the winning teams by labeling the opponent bad, opposite of what it should be.

for example, people downplay Lock In so much because it was start of the franchise and new rosters everywhere but why do they also not consider Fnatic in that who won the tournament? like they will say its a Saadhak masterclass that Loud played so well with 2 new players while downplaying Fnatic and Boaster's work calling him lucky to have that roster (which he assembled himself) cant we just say that Fnatic won because they were better? same with the Tokyo masters, i saw people saying its a mickey mouse trophy because all teams were out of form, wouldnt it be more appropriate to say that no team was actually near Fnatic at that time? i do agree they fumbled bad at champs but i wouldnt say Loud were lucky to beat them as they countered fnatic very beautifully. Is it hate that fuels these things or jealousy idk? genuinely looking for opinions.

Acend winning champs was mickey mouse because they were a team completely based on form and super inconsistent the whole year outside of champs. They also lost to VK and had to replay, and only barely beat Gambit in the GF. the playoff bracket was also really favorable for them, it was single elim and they got the best draw for playing Secret and TL before finals. considering they also pretty much imploded a few months after champs, i would definitely weigh their title pretty low compared to other LAN titles. to me, FNATIC winning LOCK/IN is pretty high up there

all regions do this; there were some EU fans who did the same at for example Reykjavik 2021, whilst yeah there were unfortunate reasons for FNC not winning they were flaming OPTIC who in reality had won the tournament fair and square.

as to why people do it, i think it's pretty obvious:

its often true, if you lose a game it goes without saying that you have made at least one bad mistake
people would rather admit their own team's flaws as a one off rather than accept that a team is better than them

teams can go downhill with the same roster, this is perfectly evident with Sentinels or 100T
after LOCK/IN LEV would go on to dominate the first half of NA season, so i'm not rly sure how you can claim they were bad without admitting your entire region was bad

Sens changed their rosters from when they were at prime.

100T were good with their core, it's just that unlike SHITMEA league, America league is more competitive.
Never said Lev were bad. It's just that we got too many talents and great teams that even Lev who are strongly respected by many Valorant analyst, couldn't made into champ.
I'm actually surprised you agreed with this considering that most of your points are just clowning.
Fnatic got 2 new players which 1 is already a champion and 1 is well known cracked sova player in EU, and both has significant online / lan experience if you actually watch Valorant esport before 2022. Unlike them loud got 2 players who are not well known and certainly did not have lan experience. Also Loud still trash them anyway in champ, which is no doubt the most important tournament.

They can adapt to the new meta or not. It's not that hard to understand this (at least if you're not American). It's not like FNC had a longer prep time or more time to create strats, antistrats, or protocols. It isn't 2021 Reykjavik where you just have to out-aim everybody with no brain, lol.

what does them being well known have to do with their performance? true about LAN experience but that's hardly a difference big enough to make LOUD in such a bad state to the extent that it was a "micky mouse tournament"

sen did not change their roster at all during their initial performance drop. that's just a bear faced falsehood. their loss of M3 berlin and champions of 2021, then proceeding to get knocked out of challengers was all with dapr, tenz, shahzam, zombs and sick. that's a SIGNIFICANT performance drop with the same roster.

Champs is the most important tourny of the year where all the teams are in full strength, thats what led to all this downplaying those victories. Altough masters was kinda a solid win tbf but LockIn I would down play it myself as well.
