It's not looking good. Prob bankrupt soon? They announced that they were lowering payment for the players (even after winning Champions), now they are removed from LCS and there were rumors about their finances. The CEO left and more staff already.

Let us see
They closed cs and dota divisions
Now they leave LoL
If im not wrong, Valorant is the only game where EG remains. It doesnt look good.
I can see Valorant disband too, maybe not now yet but sometime before next year
If EG is gone will there be any doubt G2 will be the one to fill its spot? Ig it will happen eventually
If EG does disband that's what I would assume or Riot just won't add another partnered team in.
I, for one, am savoring EG's downfall. Sucks for the employees that are likely going to be laid off, and will struggle to find another job in the industry due to the shrinking going on rn. Hope they all can find a job at an actual org that doesn't fuck over players and fans.
Apparently there is only 10 employees working for EG currently which is kind of crazy.
From my perspective, it really is such a shame... I would've loved to see them defending their Champions title and proving their strength again next year, but now I know that it's all just a fantasy.
No but I have no sympathy for the EG management staff after the horrible things that I've heard about them through the grapevine.
eg going from bottom of all leagues to best team in the world will always be a legendary run ngl hopefully the players find a home if eg leaves or hopefully the org do the things right if they stay
