why every spanish team only have 1 spanish player? do they all hate each other?

its an offseason tourney so teams from other vcl who fulfill the region rules also take part, so thats why youre seeing so many completely non spanish teams win their groups

And then spain is a health region, as such they have orgs that most of the time pay their players. Turns out players from other regions like getting paid and as such are more likely to swap region if theyre offered a spot.

European countries (excluding Russia and Turkey) are smaller and much older on average than countries like Brazil or the US. Canada seems like an exception tho, it's relatively small but produces a lot of talent
