everyone hyping up sen cause they are "destroying" in scrims
people dont understand that just picking up 1 player isnt gonna fix their issues
they have had the same coaching staff since the start of last season (except sykko)
the same coaching staff that couldn't even turn a 3 world champion player roster into a decent team?
ya'll need to lower your expectations

he averaged 157 acs in the split. sure it doesnt account for everything, but 157 is really low, especially for a team like fnc. idk what stat ur talking about, but theres no way ur comparing his stats to the other players, actually a delusional sen boy.

1 - Picked up an actual IGL it isn't just "1" player it will help implement structure
2 - Same coaching staff as last season but they looked better when they changed them + Kaplan has worked with johnqt before
3 - they actually have a core finally, and will definitely have chemistry all the teams that were good this year had a core that was brought in from the previous year SEN didn't have that and now they do while most teams have blown it up. SEN actually have somewhat of a leg up on the competition this year as most of them played with each other

I think you’re underestimating Johnqt. M80 were literally a franchise contender organization. John has that ability and confidence for igling. He is a tier 1 igl that’s for sure and is proven to frag. He can frag better than dephh.

Plus they had a year to build the synergy among players. Though I will say this. Maybe they won’t win Vct Americas. But they sure as hell aren’t getting bullied this time and won’t go down without a fight

as a SEN fan this year is different from last year for multiple reasons:

they played together for more than a year not just 5 dudes gathering to play and hope it works out
new IGL that worked with kaplan before
for the first time in a while SEN has time to practice with no pressure (at the start of the season sacy and pancada came to NA 1 month before lock in)
the roles are fixed now or at least it should be (the main issue this past season)
but in reality im not expecting a top 3 placement from them i have to see it to believe they can win and the changes made are actually good not just on paper so at least qualifying for playoffs is needed but winning everything isn't realistic for this team anymore

Last year when SEN was out of playoffs in the 3rd map against furia the stage was hype af everytime sen win a round or a player gets a nice kill so my point is sen fans want sen to win but also just Happy to see them just play.
Changes are good in theory, fans are just happy to be here, everyone is happy except the haters who are furious because their team is not as popular as sen when their team is better.
But another thing is worth mentioning is that they don't have the same pressure on them like last year i think people don't have the same expectations and all the people overrating them are doing that only because other teams got worse
