I played csgo yesterday and got called the f slur 4 times in a sentence πΏπ
Just as hatred (there have been murders and riots) of trans people is not uncommon now, human sacrifice was not uncommon then. Looking back, we see it was dumb and made no sense. I can only hope the future for transphobia is the same. I am not comparing just being called a slur online, but rather transphobia overall. I wasn't clear on that intention. Calling people a snowflake for being angry at transphobia is a dumb argument since the argument could've been made for any toxic behavior in the past such as racism. Were the people who wanted rights for blacks snowflakes in the past for what they fought for? Are the people who are fighting for trans rights now snowflakes for what they fight for? It's the same deal. like I said, times change. we need to learn to be better.
Ok now imma cry like all these dudes πππππππππππππππππππππππππππππππ₯Ίπ₯Ίπ₯Ίπ₯Ίπ₯Ίπ₯Ίπ₯Ίπ₯Ίπ₯Ίπ₯Ίπ₯Ίπ₯Ίπ₯Ίπ₯Ίπ₯Ίπ±π€π±π€π€π€π€π€π±π€―π€―π€π€―π±π€―π±π€―π€π±π€―π€―π«π«π«
Terrorist jokes are absolutely not okay and are up to an individual whether they want to accept them or not. If they bother you you have the full right to demand the person to stop them. But just because you personally might not care doesnt mean you can decide unilaterally whether its okay for these jokes to be made about others in your spot.
Trans hate currently is just a bit hotter topic in the USA and the hate is more relentless and ubiquitous. But in europe its quite close actually.
