Having your reserve roster scrim teams you're due to play against then practicing against them makes sense and is fair

I watched his video it still seems a little shady to me? bcj said this in his twitter post recently "We had to play all types of different comps because we would help prep the main team against certain teams specifically." To me this sounds very unfair. Scrimming a team under the guise of trying to improve your reserve roster. Then using what you learnt in that scrim to help the main roster against that comp or how to defend against different executes.
So teams were:
stupid enough to scrim against their reserve roster
delusional enough to believe they wouldn't share the strats and comps with their coaching staff/analyst dept.
ignorant enough to do it over and over and over again for literally the whole year(season/playoffs/masters/champions)
and then just befuddled when the above reflected directly to their winning? and we should be mad? Are you nuts? hahaha this is comical
Kobe 1v1nd reggie miller to learn his shot timings the offseason before they faced him in the finals AND won
Michael Jordan had a training camp the year he came back to the NBA from the MLB with all his rivals to condition back and win a championship
MLB players steal signs from catchers when they are on second to throw off pitches to their batter
Do i just go on?
