With Giants now announcing rhyme's departure, this leaves Giants needing to pick up a player to fill that vacancy.
Unless something comes out to contradict this statement, Giants would be looking for an IGL to fill that void.
So who could the options be? (speculation)
- Redgar, Controller IGL currently playing for Liquid but has been linked to moves outside the Dutch organisation.
- enzo, French initiator IGL currently playing for Apeks. A hot commodity in this market with many teams rumoured to interested. Despite playing in VCT Challengers this year he has had experience with the Tier 1 level during his tenure with fnatic
- yaboilewis, Welsh initiator IGL currently playing for fokus.
- unfake, a Polish Initiator IGL currently playing for Team Queso.
- bonecold, currently a benched player for Team vitality, plays a very similar agent pool and roles to rhyme.
- koldamenta, a Spanish IGL who is rumoured to be moving on from koi
In my opinion the IGL should share a similar vision , philosophy and mentality as the coaching staff, so the decision making process for choosing the next Giants' igl would a lot more complex than picking up any other position.
Surface level stats would not be adequate in formalising this decision.
