What counts as imports for China

I saw that apparently HK and Taiwan are considered part of the apac region in valorant so would they be considered imports for China? Obviously I don’t want to bring politics into this (I’m Chinese and Taiwanese) but to me it would make sense for Taiwan to be allowed to play in both regions or is that a brain dead take. Lemme know thoughts

based on new NIP Roster i think Taiwan and HK are counted as part of Chinese Region

If we look at league:

LPL: China, Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan

PCS : Taiwan, Hong Kong, Macao, Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand

LPL would be the CN league equivalent.
PCS (pacific championship series) would kinda be similar to Pacific League in some capacity.

So we could see Taiwanese players choosing one of the leagues to be a resident of.
I believe once the decision is made you would then count as an import in the other league.
