I think it's just a bit of a matchup nightmare for EDG.
Demon and Jawg have been an insane one two punch for them. Ethan has some of the cleanest util usage in the game. And if boostio and come keep fragging, it's hard to see it going any other way.

But this is especially telling when you look at the map veto. EDG love fracture, however EG is the most dominant fracture team in the world. Looking at the rest of EDG's map pool, EG has them beat on everything but Lotus.

Don't you think it's EG's fault. Disrespecting whole china region, saying NA is far better. EG wants to be a villain type team and throwing non sense in interviews. People are not supportive EDG because they like the team, they are supporting them to win to show EG that never underestimate anybody. Moreover if they really wanted to be the villains , they should have straight enough to hold the comments they get. Not cry about it.

I'll be honest I think eg is favor in this match up. Why ? Eg has like a week worth of prep for edg. They also placed higher and it's not like they're mechanically bad or tactically bad either. The only way edg has of beating them is literally all 5 players on form and also playing their best game. It's not an easy match up for edg at all imo. Even scrimbux favor eg.

Maybe that is because EG was the runner-up of Masters Tokyo while EDG was more like a black horse and they need more victories to prove their strength. However, I believe they have chance to win EG, and I hope EDG can make a further breakthrough in this Champions.
