and went 0-4 against a team you think is worse, losing the last map 13-5 starting on ascent defense
in a tournament where yay and Marved played like the 2 best players in the world and where 2 of some of the greatest teams weve ever seen in valorant couldnt attend or were massively nerfed
They can be dealing with internal or personal stuff to be fair. Come on, don't disregard the facts. Move BLG to america qualifiers and I doubt that they would even make it out groups. I just think they make braindead stuff that no one really expects at the highest level. NRG are so used to high quality competition.
that don't make sense, they did fine between the two BLG games when they played ZETA. so it doesn't seem like the problem is internal
thats crazy how you can discount BLG so hard. Their playstyle was a complete counter to NRGs, there was no universe NRG were ever gonna win against BLG unless they all had life games at the same time on every map. Thats why they got owned by FNC on haven cause FNCs haven is really heavy on isolating individuals, cutting off sight lines, and constant suppression as well as pressure.
BLG are weak to strong execs and retakes because once their formation is broken and they cant trade each others crazy plays their entire game plan crumbles. BLG are probably the best at trading rn, no other team has this level of consistent trading. Thats exactly why they couldnt beat FNC on haven is cause its an open map which allows FNC more angles and better multi kill trades since each player on that team has massive frag potential.
Stop talking like you know why NRG even lost or what was happening to them in the match. People really be thinking they got opinions yet dont know how to even spot a playstyle
Did you watch the maps today? Bilibili actually played well. They had a better idea of what was going on in the map and had slightly better aim. It was not 'braindead stuff that no one expects'. You're sort of showing how much you understand the game.

tbf to NRG those 2 games are probably the worse they looked all year but that doesn't mean that BLG didn't play well cuz they played really well
it literally wasnt tho, its a playstyle contrast. BLGs style is to discoordinate the opponents by constant trading and suppressive pushing through smokes and map control. NRG cant counter it because they arent an exec or retake team, they dont have any set plays for either which is the weakness to BLGs playstyle.
Even FNC on lotus which is a great trading map was getting messed up. They lost coordination at a lot of points and couldnt retrade their teammates since the map is so closed off which is the opposite of Haven where BLG got owned since there was no where to hid from the retrades
They're not right now. I gave them benefit of the doubt first time but they legit went 0 4 lol and some of the maps aren't even close.
y'all really defending NRG that hard? At the end of the day they just got outplayed. Nothing more, nothing less.
It's just time to move on. They tried but lost in a pretty disappointing fashion for the fans. It's important to recognize that chet and fns would definitely agree that they lost fair and square as a result of many mistakes. Even fns and ardiis has described billi billi as the better team coming out of these two games. It's pretty clear NRG have to work towards adopting better strategies against some of these aggressive APAC teams because at this point we've seen this be a clear weakness multiple times. They've lose to PRX last year and this year (even when they had a sub) and now they've lost to billi billi twice without gaining a map. No one doubts the strength of NRG against NA and EMEA teams. But it's important adequate adjustments are made and lessons are learned from this game.
um dont think losing twice and not even making the last map in their games admirable to watch is what u call "a better team"

NRG simply got over-confident facing BLG also got humbled by BLG "TWICE". BLG showed what they have to offer and paid off. 2 of 4 maps are not even close games (NRG got destroyed).
