i think the narrative came because he replaced pancada which is a top 3 smoker itw, and tuyz never played out to his level

his aim was always great, but he is 100% a tier below the other controllers in his util and contribution to the team
the LOUD DRX game perfectly showed it, teams with great smokes players just expose his weaknesses
this game was super refreshing to see him pop off though
