Hmm I'm not so sure about that. When I open task manager, I see opera gx with 37 tabs open but I only have one. And if I close one of those random tabs, opera gx just shuts down.
i am pretty sure that doesnt represent tabs
same happens with chrome as well, but i am pretty sure chrome is more ram consuming (atleast in my case)
What us it representing then? It takes up a lot of my cpu to run opera and idk why. Ram isn't really an issue for my PC, but I can't use opera gx while playing valorant.

All the ads are way over the top. a simple side ad would be good enough
dont see anything. only one "gambling ad" on my mobile and its not intrusive at all, just a small banner ad. could be just bc im using opera gx mobile app
edit- turned ad block off, same thing
yeah idk maybe its country-dependent? idk...everything seems fine to me lmao
