the takes from the people actually in the community were absolutely braindead, and they need to start using their braincells before typing random shit. they wanted t2 changes, leo said they'll happen, but somehow they still went on to flame him etc etc
he also said that partnership is for a reason, and many braindead takes came from these people coz they couldnt understand what the purpose of partnership was.
He also talks abt how Ludwig said "ive been pushing for relegation for stability of t1 and t2 scenes", and TMV was like wtf thats a dumb take, that will just cause more instability and also, what happens to diversity when two LATAM or two Japanese teams get relegated?
He talked abt how ppl were mad abt Ascension, asking "well what if the Guard win Champs but then they have to go back to T2", and TMV said thats stupid because obviously ascension players will only sign max 2 year contracts so they can get picked up.
And he talked abt the stupidity of ppl getting mad abt the term "guest slots", saying well yeah they are technically guests lol
He's not good at the game, doesn't really understand the game, he just kinda says words, like a poor mans sliggy
people don't like that he pretends to understand the game
it's possible he does actually understand the game and we're retarded but he has never done anything like coaching or analyst for a team to prove it
but you don't really need to have coaching or analyst experience to understand the game, don't you
because most of the things he says make sense to me and I didn't see those experienced and high-ranked disagree with TMV much...
I can see your words being an argument for "Oh, yeah, others will probably make less mistakes, cause they are more experienced" but not for "hating" the man.
Nadeshot had a similar take. Not as crazed but hits similar points and whatnot. https://youtu.be/urznvTN5Jg4?t=1339
This rant changed my entire POV about franchising. I thought franchising was gonna be BAD for Valorant, and that tier 2 scene is gonna die. But let's be real, if you're wanting to be a pro in a game, you shouldn't ENTIRELY depend on it lmao, what people are saying is they want to fulfill tier 2 pros' spoilt dreams of earning 6 figures immediately, which is NOT gonna happen even if Esports get all the sponsors in the world. Moreover Leo himself said that he's gonna try to fix tier 2 Valorant and the overall scheduling of VCT next year... This was merely the first ever year of franchising, mistakes are BOUND to happen...
Also it's funny how mfs attack Leo Faria like he doesn't know shit. I initially didn't like him too but I didn't HATE him, I just think he sometimes words out stuff badly, like the "guest slots" controversy. Of COURSE they are guest slots lmao what are you trying to prove by cancelling him? They're gonna stay in that org for max 2 years, and then as TMV said, like what if they win Masters or Champions or dominate within their league? DUDE, if they are that good then OF COURSE they'll look for offers from other teams within their league bro, it's COMMON SENSE.
Twitter just needs to be vanished from existence at this point, it's legit a cesspool of horrendous takes and cancel culture
