thoughts on them picking up an assistant coach and/or another analyst? it could be good for them to pick up Happy/ENGH. i think they could bring a lot of depth strat wise. it would also take a load off of kaplans back

drew's contract ends this year so who knows if they are gonna keep him or not. an yea i know he exists but yea the more the better i think.

I guess they could get an analyst/ another assistant but its unlikely they would get a high profile name like engh to fill this position.

They just need to fix fundamentals up and have a coach/igl that can drill it, they don't need fancy execs. They need to learn how to play Valorant honestly, that's what gave teams like KRU and C9 the edge this LCQ. Solid fundamentals no fancy execs. I think you solve that with removing kaplan, maybe drew, and putting an IGL that is seriously good at mid-rounding and late round calling.

i agree for the most part. like on pearl it felt like they didnt utilize mid once. they did a 5 man set play every attack round

that's kinda unfair to kaplan considering what he was up against this year, still believe he's a great coach

Perseverance will just prove if kaplan is a good coach or not, a lot of coaches have had problems that affected their rosters. Don't know if SEN will keep kaplan though but I think another season could be good to see what he's got, still don't have much faith in him compared to an oldhead csgo coach or someone with just a lot more experience.

you're spot on. hiring more staff isn't gonna fix the lack of team synergy and fundamentals they lacked together on those maps where they got crushed on. they need to just play more together and get more depth with their strats.
