Not all M80 players deserve franchising

I keep seeing threads about all the M80 players being worthy of franchising, this simply isn't true.

nismo and zander are really the only two viable candidates.

johnqt, eeiu, and koalanoob are good, solid players -- they are not tier 1 players. they clearly choked on lan and have proven themselves to be inconsistent at best. that last match vs the guard was truly sad to watch for these three.

always ask yourself this question: who would they replace? how would any of these players be better options than bdog, skuba, Verno, add3r, OXY (oxy would be goated without ratzam as igl)? what current franchised players would they replace? i think the only NA players likely to be dropped from franchising are jakee, runi, ardis, derrek, stellar, C0M (probably wont be dropped because of nepotism/prefer preestablished chemistry), asuna, bang -- there's just simply not many positions available.

I agree koalanoob doesn't have a spot no one really needs a new duelist other than sentinals but that's complicated. There is definitely teams who need a new IGL and johnqt is strait up the best free agent option to bring in a new IGL. Also aint no way C0M is getting dropped

Eeiu is imo tier 1 as well. The others yeah not t1 material.

been saying this and honestly dont understand why most people think any franchise org will run after these players after they dropped the ball in a tier 2 tournament. Especially the posts from SEN fans are the dumbest, given the fact they bought people who had a great 2022 for their roster 2023 - they will not even look at Tier 2 losers. NA franchise pays among the highest salaries and has the ability to poach the best from EMEA and Pacific too. Now some broke orgs like C9 might look at them but then mCE would have to agree he made a mistake with the 2 rookies which I dont think he will.

Koala is the only one from m80 who isnt good enough.
There is a lack of initiators and igls in Americas tier 1 and EEIU and Johnqt fit that role so they are good enough aswell.

the only one for sure i would say would not get in is koala, hes a jett otp but isnt good enough to justify it

zander it really depends on what c9/100t/sen do, if 100t drop bang (i personally wouldnt) he would likely go there

na lacks igls and if SEN dont want to move on with marved igl then johnqt is next up, c9/100t are possible too

nismo could easily fit onto any roster as a flash initiator, should play some skye tho

eeiu i think is the 2nd weakest player but since derrek has played very poor and who knows what will happen to sacy he could get a spot

I think you're retarded if you think Koalanoob isn't tier 1 material. He can flex, has one of the best ops in Americas and is an insane rifler. He's better than TenZ for sure. Most of these tier 2 & 3 players are tier 1 level they just need the chance to show their talent. Look at jakee and runi no one knew who they were and then they did a better job than Yay and vanity lmao
