FaZe entered the year with mostly the same team from the end of the previous season, replacing only Xavier "flyuh" Carlson with Daniel "Rossy" Abedrabbo heading into the first split. Tanner "TiGG" Spanu and Anthony "mummAy" DiPaolo joined the team earlier in the year after FaZe Clan started off mediocre fashion, replacing Quan "dicey" Tran and Rossy. Following the roster change, FaZe managed to qualify as the seventh seed for Challengers Playoffs.

It appears that the roster will not be sticking together heading into next season, as most of the team has put out LFT posts on their personal Twitter accounts. It is unknown whether the organization will choose to remain in the Challengers league next season, or stick with their Game Changers roster.

FaZe has faced financial issues over the course of the past few years, putting their standing within Valorant under doubt. FaZe began public trading in July 2022 after a $725M valuation, however as of today their stock price is at a measly 0.41 USD per share.
