Asia Server difference Point by Country

Hong Kong: Hong Kong users are very toxic. They don't shoot and are busy fighting each other in chat.
If you play in Hong king sever, It is common to see them go outside game while playing games.
Their game play is so messy.

Japan: Japan users are so kind and have a great mentality.
But They seem to hate having their characters die. Maybe it's because they're so obsessed with animation characters.
Anyway, They have a very slow game tempo and seem to hate fighting.
Japan users pick jett, reyna and raze, but they don't move forward. they didn't go entry.
If you play valorant in japan, You will feel frustrated by yourself.

Korea: The Korean server was very difficult to use.. I wonder why Korean sever was not included in the Asian server.
Anyway, Korean server is very aggressive and the game tempo is fast. They seem to rush to each other to die first.
However, the toxic level of users is similar to that of Hong Kong or a little lower.

in Hong kong and korea rank : Dia3, Dia1
In japan: Platinum 2 - I tried to raise in diamond rank, but Looking at their game style, I got loose and stopped because it wasn't fun.

I haven't tried the Singapore, Mumbai, and Sydney servers yet. If you have any experience, please let me know in the comments.

Singapore usually has less comms, probably due to the fact that majority of SEA countries play on there = language barrier. Although it's less toxic than HK in my experience.

Personally found SG servers very toxic and extremely racist to Indians before Mumbai came out, I have played a lot since then and am in Dia 3 rn so finding matches in Mumbai is a pain and I have to play in SG again, experience have been much better than before although I do get 1 odd racist cunt in 10 matches.

Mumbai servers were kinda like how every server is, its all indians so theres no racism but you do get a toxic idiot or a thrower every 10-15 matches in gold. Plat lobbies were good, I didnt get many toxic people

wtf I try to play on the mumbai rank diamond-imo server, looking for matches is a bit longer than the SG server, and always meet the same people, they are also racist when they see ping 50-70 because they know we from the SG server, especially if we are playing badly, he would yell at me " go back to your server mathercod "

After that incident many times on the Mumbai server, I never wanted to play in Mumbai again, and I realized that it was better to play in my own region, even though there was still toxic but it was only a game, and I have never heard of Singaporeans saying "go away from my server"

I've personally been attacked on basis of my language and color.. those bastards hate South Indians and start calling us idli sambar and also call us black n shit.. one guy wanted me to go to srilanka cos that's where he thinks black people are.. it happens like once every 20 matches but messes my mind up for being in the same country and facing this shit.. they think north Indians are superior and hindi is the national language

Damn I didn't know that sorry to hear that. I have personally never met anyone who was racist to South Indians except once during Episode 1. A lot of ppl I meet in val dont know Hindi so we mostly communicate in English and there's not much resistance from the Hindi speakers usually. The toxicity and racism towards Indians usually happen when Indians start to backseat game every time and get mad if no one follows. Literally, whenever I play in SG Server and there's an Indian and if they backseat game. Other players will start to say racist and toxic stuff towards them.

edit: I don't condone any toxicity and racism towards each other, however, I also don't like it if players were telling me what to do every time.

Mumbai servers are much better than the rest of Asia. (Expect Japan ofc)

Surprisingly I have gone through about 25-30 games now without toxicity. There was one game where people were joking about making fun of bottom fragging but it was just us vibing cause we were winning 13-2 and making fun of the Jett and Reyna running to get kills while others laughed and called them to kill hungry.

Mumbai servers have just got an undeserved bad rep by Indians who like to victimize themselves.

i used to live in saudi arabia and would play CSGO on the oman servers (i don't think a bahrain one existed when i was there). unironically everyone was super chill. no racism and very little toxicity, and even though there was a language barrier (i don't know Arabic) we would still try to communicate. glad to see they're still pretty chill for Val and happy that there's a Bahrain server!

Hong Kong: Either you meet someone who didn't talk at all or someone who get tilted easily then cursing in Mandarin XD

Singapore: Toxic as usual, no matter what game you play. Just don't take it personal and go mute instantly.

Sydney Servers are just people swearing 24/7. Ngl I hit diamond and those have been my only experiences when losing. Majority of the time I dread the game because of this, seems like the only way to avoid it is if people are peaceful or your winning the game.

My experience From iron to Plat in HK and SG.

Iron 3 to Bronze 3 (HK) - Toxic, Have Comms only for bs, throwing.
[Switched to SG]
Bronze 3 to Silver 2 (SG) - No comms only 1 or 2 person would talk unless you guys are top fragging or your score is 10-2, less toxic than HK but still toxic, can easily rank up if you have a duo or 5 man.
Silver 3 to Gold 3 (SG) - Uses comms but would say corners or at the top (of what?) instead of where they exactly are, fast pace sometimes not, some people plays like dia or immo at gold ngl so find a duo who can atleast support you.
[Not playing HK anymore, only for unrated games because of low ping]
Plat 1 (SG) - Good comms, Good people at plat 1 and up, unless you have an attitude and some people are annoying just mute them and dont get into fights or else they would throw, some of them are boosted or bought an account because of their aim and playstyle XD, overall SG is still on top on my opinion.

started playing val on SG server. back in those hardly met racist people, made friends all over from PH, ID, MY, TH. Idk about now

SG - full of smurfs, one sided matches generally (my exp - unranked to b3)

Mumbai- cancerous try harder server and you would meet someone abusing your mom very often (my exp - unranked to G1)

HK- people are mic less and try hard even in Spike rushes and deathmatch. Ranked is try harder paradise (my exp - B3 to S3)

In common all 3 servers have people begging for skins every round in low elo lobbies

mumbai servers low elo is tryhard and kinda toxic however higher elo is SOOO much more friendly and ive vibed out and had fun in soo many of them
the enemy will prolly be toxic but ur own teammates will be chill except for the reyna who gets angry at everyone

My experience: Hong Kong, Japan, Singapore, NA, KR (every region high elo diamond-high immo except NA because I get 150-160 ping - I have lots of radiant/Immortal friends in NA though and I watch their discord streams somewhat regularly and am gold-plat-ish elo on the server w lots of Match MVPs)

Hong Kong: Lots of filipinos, and super toxic. It is crazy how toxic the people are on this server, I really don't recommend. Very disjointed strategically as the comms are lacking either substance or at all. The server itself gets weird packet loss sometimes. I know a lot of Korean high elo players play on this server because it's freelo.

Japan: freelo. people are bad mechanically and strategically. you can just aim diff tbh. they are really nice people though. KR players also farm this server.

Singapore: Pretty good quality for the most part. I get 80 ping but because i can rely on my teammates more than other regions I can farm diamond lobbies just as if I were on lower ping, the comms are decent - on average better than HK. The util usage is good too.

NA: The bad players are really bad, but the good players are crazy good. Like insanely good. There's a large playerbase so for the most part they are what you'd expect when you see their rank.

KR: Can be quite toxic in low-mid elo. However from experience they have the best understanding of util usage in ranked and have some crazy aim demons. https://youtu.be/InBCtuz1Yw8
I have yet to really meet someone who has both though lol. Also their gamesense is not as good as NA.

I also played Mumbai once. Nothing really special. Not particularly toxic not particularly crazy.

Korea and JP: It's hard to communicate English

HK: can be a little English but very toxic, has a very sharp AIM.

Mumbai: can speak English, but when in Rank Diamond-Radiant Match is very difficult to find it, sometimes Toxic to the Sea Player that has a big ping and is playing badly.

Sea: can speak English, meet lots of people from all over asia

around asc-low Immo lobbies in SG server you would find Indo, sg, malay to be more toxic than others. personally I found Thai player to be more relaxed and laid back followed by Pinoy (yes pinoy) rarely meet viet player but they usually very quiet.

in higher lobby around immo2-immo3 it's been very chill (no racist remarks so far, just another usual tilted dudes)

I tried JP server a few times in my smurf they usually very quiet when they knew you're a kaigai till you spoke nihongo then they'll be calling a small strat and shit, I don't like playing there because in higher lobbies they're still have questionable gamesense.

JP: they are under pressure to use VC and dont wanna insist to someone cuz its rude thing for them. they hate to rush because youtube videos and pro players say controling areas is important.
playing ranked is work for them, not game. you must do your obligation. if you dont do that, they would hate you beyond the monitor.

HK: pinoys are usually very kind and positive. they insist their opinion and i feel good about that.
chinese usually doesnt use English. it excepts for calling us "monkey".
the entire level of aiming is higher than JP
