Americas Ascension preds

Who do y'all think will make it to ascension at this moment now that Split 2 is over? Here are my guesses + a few words of reasoning

NA:

M80 (wrecked split 1 and performed well in split 2)
Guard (consistently good, and we've seen each player's potential)
if one of these two don't make it, then i'd imagine the last spot will be MxM (amazing form this last split, could make it if they maintain it)

BR:

The Union (undefeated in their split and winners of the last split. clear favorite atm)
Keyd Stars (admittedly every BR team not called The Union is pretty close in terms of potential atm, but VKS seems most likely I think)
if VKS don't make it, either TBK or 00Nation make it )

LATAM North:

FUSION (have been dominating since split 1)
if FUSION don't make it then it's almost certainly Six Karma (the only team to really challenge FUSION, winners of last split)

LATAM South:

9z Team (clear favorite atm)
if not 9z then All Knights (been top 3 since start)

edits: removed Red Canids and INFINITY (they weren't ever my top choice but I had them as maybes, turns out they're both out entirely. mb)

it was hard for me to pick between MxM and Guard tbh. what i'm worried about is MxM's form just being temporary and they come crashing out of playoffs. Guard's consistency could be what sees them through imo

i would say the guard instead of MxM but they have been looking a little shaky recently

9z is one bo3 away to qualify to ascension.
Infinity is out
if it weren't because of the lag 9z would be undefeated in almost 30 matches

oops, that's on me. i thought infinity was still in, accidentally looked at split 1 since they were runner up in that playoff. either way my prediction is all the same :)

red canids are also out of contention btw

also 9z is almost guaranteed to qualify for latam south. theyre at 100 points so all they have to do is win at least 1 match in playoffs. if all knights wants to qualify they need to win this split and 9z to go 0-2 in playoffs.

really? i know they're out of contention for this set of playoffs but VLR says that the upcoming playoffs give circuit points and no ascension ticket, so i thought that it'd be like Americas where a team can qualify for the final qual on points despite playing poorly in the last split (ie g2)

in br and latam the teams qualify through points, not a playoffs bracket like in NA

oh that's news to me. i mostly follow LATAM north and it seems to be doing playoffs for their one spot though? is this just another "organizers bad no consistency" moment?

edit: nevermind i see now. VLR was just confusing me in their formatting. sorry about that

idk man i don't watch BR challengers bc i am scared of what i could witness...
ever since havoc left i am pretty unconfident on The Union, and consequently on every other team. don't hype up them like that, they might disappoint as much as VKS did back then
