Siberia to jp ping should still be dogshit, only from Vladivostok you get 40 ping and 30 to kr servers as well (according to Russian streamers who play there)
siberia plays in japan severs i think, or the ping is best for them in japan servers
south east of far east is very close to japan it literally borders north korea
yep, a fun geography fact is that you could go from norway to north korea while only having to travel through russia

Vladivostok is 1.5h flight from Tokyo and 1 h 20 min from Seoul, ofc they aren't going to play on Frankfurt with 150 ping, plus it is easier to get into pro scene in jp region because skill requitements are lower than in CIS (insomnia is top 5-6 in Berlin quals when I doubt that they would make it into close qual stage in CIS imo, the players are just not that good.)
