Yay for a possible franchised team after the transfer window opens, or he'll be a challengers player only this year.
He has had his moments, but the whole roster is soo dysfuntional. What's the point to have like soo many players laying around. Screwface, Bcj, reformed, apoth just sitting in the bench. I persoanally, wouldnt trust them with yay, especially if he was widely acclaimed as the best player in my region. 100T, NRG, or the new franchise org that will come to NA.
I agree, look demon1 is playing good right now in his moments, but hes still young and fresh to this, you can see that in some of the plays he does. EG got suuper lucky with him, most players would have fallen flat on their face with his experience, Especially being up on stage too. I don't like the way EG runs it's Valorant side of things. 10 man roster just to sit so many of them on the bench? Not to mention why on EARTH did they bench BcJ and leave c0m on the starting roster? EG needs a complete over-haul.
im disputing your claim that EG does not have an eye for good tier 2 talent. both demon1 and screwface are actually really nice pickups. all i will say is that if EG is as dysfunctional of a team as you say they are (which i do agree with btw), then demon1 is much better than any of us would have expected, considering he came from tier 2.
im talking about demon1 because demon1 plays the same role yay plays and is performing against opponents that are at the level that yay used to play against when he was on optic. and your claim that the other 9 players on the team are no good simply back up my claim that EG has some amazing tier 2 talent that they picked up after franchising. all of the issues with EG are issues that have stayed from before franchising. C0M, boostio and potter were before franchising. all of the pickups after that were actually good pickups, if they werent left on the bench/made to sit out when worse players are allowed to keep playing.
