Why is everyone hyping up DRX?

They never won anything international
They never made an appearance in a final even even tho they have one of the oldest cores that is together for a long time

They are just farming in Asia and when it matters they look lost, I remember people where hyping them since First Strike when they were Vision Strikers, and guess what first international LAN they lose 13-2 vs Gambit on Bind (tbf Gambit was so strong)

Dont get me wrong, they are a really good team but casters and hosts are talking about them like they are this team that plays perfect Valorant and won everything…Or does RIOT has a simp on Korean teams?

Casters talk about them like that cause you are watching the Pacific broadcast where they hype up Pacific teams. They are the best team in the region, so why wouldn’t the casters hype them up? It’s just like FNC or LOUD getting hyped up in their respective regions.

As for why they get hyped up by fans, it’s cause they are consistently top 5 in the world. Sure they don’t have any titles, but getting top 5 for the past few events still makes you a good team regardless. Not to mention the fact that a lot of OG strats that are still used today come from them.
