Honestly, you can't really compare EG and Sentinels.
Both teams have widely different targets for the season.

Was it harsh to fire syyko? Well from an outsiders perspective, yes.

EG have been improving week on week, still you could argue they aren't good enough to play in the top league.
However, there's no point firing Potter and co right now. You physically can't overhaul the coaching staff due to the roster locks.

Come the end of the inaugural VCT season, if EG are still not performing at a "good" enough level then they can decide to change the coaching staff.

all these folks spreading hate by terming him "sexist" & "misogynist" etc. are the same people who demand for equality for women at workplace. But when people actually start treating them equally, this kind of shit happens.

sykko had 2 players who are world champions and 2 players who have won masters (one of them benched, but still) and yet his team looked shitty. kaplan is showing a strong team with role changes (and i am sure he would be doing ok even if tenz wasnt needing a break).

potter is working with a bunch of players who never accomplished anything relevant on valorant. they have not proven themselves, and yet the team is improving.

we always knew EG's plan is to form their players. they didnt bring in big names, they kept their base. obviously they are cooking to deliver on long term, not short term, while sentinels is burning money and expects results right now

EG was the last team to hire the players(only tier 2 players ). Sentinels has 3 players who won international events and are the most stacked roaster in NA. It's not even fair to compare these roasters.
