how would prime gambit/sentinels fare today?

I'm talking about Master Berlin Gambit and Master Reykjavic Sentinels. I think they would definitely get bodied by the top franchising teams, and probably by M80 and the Guard. They could probably beat KC tho, or at least Gambit could. Watching the old VODS is so interesting cuz its like they don't know anything, they pick Reyna, they never save, etc. What do you guys think

nah deffo clears IGL scream. Maybe now that scream doesn't need to think they can give Gambit a tough time, but prime Gambit would destroy them.

Both teams would get shit on by most of the partnership teams and some NA/BR(Maybe EU too) challenger teams. Sentinels would most likely have it worse.

Iceland form sentinels wouldnt be able to pull out a double wall comp, they would have like some cool tenz rounds tho. Gambit would be able to do it but lack the firepower that teams with the same teamwork have now. (Deffo)

Gambit could maybe be better than FPX with ardiis, but with cNed NAVI is a lot better. You definitely have no idea on how many times cNed has bodied this gambit squad.

1 chamber match on a weaker acend squad buddy. The 2021 roster shat on gambit multiple times. I have been watching EMEA games from 2021, not just looking at stats.

reassembled og gambit roster w org support would clear most franchised teams, meta is good for them and all of them are performing well rn. prime gambit transported into 2023 from 2021 would get stomped ofc

if you reset the meta to the same time as their prime, I think they'd do fine.

if you bring them into the current meta and map pool they get bodied

Prime SEN would be a beast right now with no Chamber.

Dapr is the best Sentinel
ShahZ on Jett was just as good as Aspas and Derke
SicK and Sinatraa were world class players

The only question mark would be zombs holding his own

I think Gambit would do fine still. I think they kind of fell off because everyone watched and learned how they played. Like nAts changed the way sentinels were seen/played etc. Their players of Redgar, Chronicle, nAts and Sheydos are still relevant and up to par individually d3ffo is bit hit or miss, but I actually think he would still be good enough for current meta. Also especially nAts looked more comfortable on M3C who still were top 5 EMEA team for most of last year. And Gambit were playing Reyna on Haven because it was their perma ban.

Ofc it hard to say because teams would adapt mid game and not just follow their 1.5 year old gameplan. If they were just same everything 2021 Gambit then they would struggle, but as I said their individuals as well as adaptation would win them games I think because as I said this same roster could still be playing on top level.
