It doesn’t make sense to say “yeah but would this happen if it was with zekken” because it isn’t the player that matters here but his performance, zekken has been performing well while tenz isn’t. You can’t even argue that tenz gets more flak because of his brand because without it he wouldn’t even be playing in T1 rn
initiator is a safe agent for stat padding if your team isn't doing great whereas Jett you have to spearhead the blunt attack so more bad deaths. Even zekken's raze entries made him look like a noob when SEN didn't have coordinated gameplan and zekken is one of the best razes itw.
That's like asking can aspas play smoke as good as marved? There's no doubt zekken is the more flexible player but you don't build a team focusing on flexibility of all 5 players. I am making the argument from an objective standpoint.
except aspas and may be derke which other duelist/Jett player is super consistent? Even aspas and derke have bad games time to time, not to mention the health and mental issues.
factos. zekken didn't even have to do much yesterday and that's a good thing that he didn't feel the pressure to make insane entries every round or pull something outta magic hat. He just played his game, got his ones and that's so refreshing for a primary duelist.

Zekken is consistent and reliable to count on in every match. Rarely makes mistakes and is super flexible.
T0nZ is a toss up. Currently rated the second worst player in the Americas league. His “mythical ceiling” and clout is the reason he is still on SEN.
he's rated the lowest because they got mowed down by nrg and tenz didn't play his best against lev because of his injury and having covid, against 100t when he was given a chance to shine and play like tenz he match mvp'd

Yes. They found success and if their eventual ceiling was reached with the roster, then Tenz->Zekken would be explored. That's how it is. Our reality is the reverse of that and they SHOULD be riding this lineup till the wheels fall off.
