The only time when Fnatic could ever be called a superteam is now tbh. FPX was way more of a superteam after they added Suy, Suy was a beast in Forze and everyone who watched CIS scene was hyping him up.

Yes but any team with mistic and enzo who were kinda mid players can't be called a superteam. Fpx had the #1-2 flex/initiator in cis(Shao), #2 anchor in cis(suy), zyppan who has been good for his whole career(but not at the very top) and a very experienced igl in ange1, the only weaker link was ardiis (and his signing was criticized a lot on vlr and reddit, although in fpx he turned out to be good)

They were a super team during the braveaf era. They had 3 players who at the time were the best on their roles (before mistic dropped off).
Even during Enzo Alfa you'd be able to say they're near a superteam.
Truth is they never were cause of how inconsistent their players were

yep, I know saadhak is tier 1 IGL and but can we not ignore he still has his best player on the team? Aspas is the goat. Even though both Optic and Loud changed two players idk how LOUD are still so good and NRG this average?

It's ardiiss idc. Yay and Marved did play a key role in optics success while LOUD managed to replace their players with 2 awesome talents from their own region idk why Chet and FNS went for import. Mannn idk all respect to LOUD players anyways I love them

also s0m is a great player, he has proven that he can play at a high level, but he is still not on Marved level yet...

Marved didn't play when NRG faced Sentinels and they still lost, Tuyz is also not adapted yet to the controller role, and you saw what they did to NRG in lock in, everybody had their chance to shine in that game, because that's what a good IGL can do to your team. STOP making excuses and blaming it on the players and accept he is not the best IGL in the tournament, if saadhak was american this discussion wouldn't even exist

Nah....you don't understand the context... Ardiis is bring to replace yay with a high hope. But instead, you see how he performed: vs Levi (-12), vs MiBr (-6), vs C9 (-19). Only vs Sen he went positive, although his perform was not outstanding. Thats why like I said, if LOUD have ardiis instead of aspas. I'm pretty sure LOUD could not perform well like now...
And if you see how Marved played yesterday, you will notice very well that lurking is something that S0m does not have/ very lacked.
So surely, with all the changes he may need more time.

Also the fact that he bring OPTIC become the most consistent team in 2022 (something that no others IGL can do) is undeniable....Until Saadhak do the same thing this year and then we can argue...

NRG strats are the best but they lack the firepower. When the player you picked up to replace the best player in the world becomes the worst player in your team, it becomes a problem. Strats don't matter if you don't have enough firepower.

ardiis made the comps very difficult. NRG is making so many changes solely because ardiis is not living up to his EU days.

Victor is forced to switch between duelist, controller, initiator because ardiis can't play raze or jett good enough, as simple as that.
Even FNS is being forced into the Kayo and Skye role wtf.

Both SEN and NRG have comp issues.
