I remember people saying that Boaster hadn't actually proved himself as a great IGL because "he needed a superteam" to win a trophy. But when we look at the winners of each international event, most of them had teams we would consider superteams in their own right.

The only exception might be Acend, but even then they had cNed, and starxo and zeek who were popping off at Champs 2021, so you could even count them.

I know Fnatic had an amazing squad but that shouldn't take away from Boaster's ability to lead a team

FNC masters 2 team was also called a superteam which defeated FPX mutiple times
then they got counter strated hard and struggled later in masters copenhagen
if there existed a lower bracket and all teams played with complete rosters before lockin results would be very different

Take loud for example, when they were formed in 2022 but noone expected their dominance. They simply grew together. In fact people outside of br probably didn't even know aspas, less and pancada.

Everyone knew who the fncs member were and what they bring to the table. They were artificial in a sense which people don't like

The only fluke I know is Optic Iceland. FPX had visa issues and Derke had covid. The real winners were FPX but Optic never got to play them in full strength

Haters will hate. It doesnt take anything away from the achievements.

Lockin was the biggest (in terms of teams attending) and therefore the hardest tournament to date. Fnatic won and currently are the best team.

every team had 3 peak players during prime PRX was good bcoz jinggg forsaken and mindfreak were winning so many duels at copenhagen but forsaken went inconsistent and mindfreak fell off after that event

i dont really consider many of the winning rosters superteams because a good chunk of them had to lose before they won, the next closest thing to fnatic would be 2022 LOUD.

that being said i have nothing but respect for boaster and im glad he got his trophy.
