Is that for his IGL abilities? I typically see Steel bottom fragging, but maybe I’m missing something.
Does aproto IGL? aproto is something special. I remember watching him drop 36 kills, including an overtime ace, against SSG on Bind (I forget which tournament). He’s been in a slump recently.
EDIT: 38 kills (cypher btw), and it was during First Strike.
SicK is 100% in for me as the flex and 'support duelist' kind of player. Most consistent player across all the region and with a huge agent pool (Phoenix, Breach, Skye, Sage, Sova, Raze...).
Main duelist would probably be for TenZ or Shot_Up for obvious reasons.
Main Sova player for Crashies. He's on a roll. Also huge numbers with Skye on Split.
Aproto or Dapr for Cypher/KJ player
nitr0 for Omen and IGL
everyone has steel or nitro as their igl, and yes they're great players, but the best igl in all of NA is Shahzam. there is absolutely no debate to that. FNS comes in at a close second but there is only one team who has won CONSISTENTLY across all of NA, and that's Shahzam. Plus he's a better fragger than FNS. Nitro and Steel had great CS careers but their only accomplishment rn is winner of First Strike. as of now, their team is heavily struggling

you could easily make teams with more fragging power but im not really focused on that. FNS is a solid IGL, but i think the shotcalling system would be best if it were somewhat less centralized, with tenz and nitr0 calling some plays. i chose FNS to IGL over steel because steel micromanages his team a bit too much for the hybrid IGL system to work. tenz and sick have been an incredble duelist duo. sick always seems ready to trade out tenz. i cant see any of these guys being switched out for someone like asuna or babybay because of their synergy. not only that, tenz could fill the OP role. bcj is just a criminally underrated player who is great in clutches and duels, although depending on his playstyle and personality, i could see him being swapped for one of the million cracked sova players. nitr0 is in there for having some of the best utility usage of any NA player, and he can also frag/clutch consistently. this is also probably the best tilt-proof team i can come up with
I don't get why people keep putting dapr. He's not bad, but he's not one of the best cyphers in NA. He has decent aim, but only shines when he's having a good day and the rest of his team is fragging. FNS, aproto, KOLER, nature, curry, steel all better in my eyes (maybe not nature and steel as much).
Because people are not looking at just fragging but how he performs his role which from an outside observer point of view is hard to tell and definitely not reflected in the scoreboard. If you have tuned into some of sen's interviews you would hear how much credit ShahZaM gives to the information that dapr provides which helps them approach each round and get the reads which wins rounds for them. This is why I think FNS is also a great Cypher but I'm not a huge fan of saying 'Aproto is the best Cypher in NA' because a lot of what makes him good is not directly tied to Cypher or how he uses that agent, he's great at clicking heads. There's a reason plat chat or other analysts are high on the dapr train, he's an intelligent player.

- Used to play it and was excellent
Sen TenZ (entry duelist) - I mean he's the best entry player in NA
TSM Subroza (smokes/lurk/entry/igl) - Nuts player, only worse than Wardell when he's on on TSM
LG aproto (sentinel) - Nuts player, could be replaced with an IGL if you didn't want Subroza to IGL
Sen SicK (flex) - Very flexible and good player
