fair enough, I guess there are some NA fans that are in denial and immediately think that NRG is not the best team in NA just because they lost to LEV

Yea I agree, that was stupid. Probably the recency bias was strong with a lot of people. NRG is still #1 NA after the first week. Will it change? Maybe or maybe not we'll just have to wait and see.

NRG played like ass tho not even just on an individual level but on map 2 their strats were nowhere to be seen
I dont think as of right now SEN can be said to be number 1 cause they looked way too shaky against a 100T that barely adapted to anything. The next week match most likely will determine no. 1 NA for the most part of the season. Sad part is that SEN has the top 5 teams in the league against them in their first 5 matches, its ridiculous

i think playing all the best teams back to back is brutal. but it also is really good. you get all the practice against strong teams first and see your mistakes, and fix them and when it comes to the weaker teams, you’ll have an easier time.

i feel like it would be the other way around. Once youve settled and are already really comfortable you then have to play harder teams and then they ll be able to force out those mistakes from you even when youve thoguht youve fixed them
