i just thought abt this. wouldnt it've been better for u to sign sheydos aswell? nats, redgar and him wouldve already had good synergy. hes also good role-wise and his aim is insane (top 3 all time, no debate). probably didnt work out, for whatever reason... a shame

funny thing is ive seen sheydos's streams and he has passable english, probably the same as redgar or better so i think it could work, and regardless of how much his english is downgraded compared to soulass the firepower boost will definitely make up for it + some its just that TL management are stuck coping on jamppi and soulcas since champs '21

Old gambit roster peaked in 2021. No matter how many of them you put together you so won't bring back the magic. Get over it. We saw their level as a team in 2022.

Thats unfair to say. They struggled in the chamber meta, and d3ffo was not the awper they needed.

Even FNS mentioned at one point between Copenhagen and Istanbul that Optic still scrimmed M3C whenever they could and that that team was still insanely good despite not qualifying at LCQ.

I think they would dominate during this meta if they were still together.

"They struggled in the chamber meta" - So did other teams. It's Valorant bro, if a team falls off during any meta, they still fell off. This game is always changing and the ability to keep up is what separates the elite from the not so elite.

Also scrimbux doesn't matter, results do. It's really not unfair to say that the team peaked. It's not like I'm saying they became trash.

Would they dominate in this meta? Saying that is nothing more than theory at this point, it literally cannot be proven. The fact that everyone knew a chamber nerf was coming and they chose to not stay together also says alot.

Just give Jamppi more time to develop on the agent, it's only his 3rd game with her. These solid early performances show promise and I believe they can be even better with time.

When will you guys learn that in losses like that, it is never one player's fault.
Their coaching was clearly not good at the time, stil hadnt had enough time with each other bcs of redgar's fucking visa issues, AND them all being disconnected from each other and having different ideas about the game.

stop blaming ONE person, it was a team failure.

Sheydos on TL - Soulass would actually be a good team, all they would need is -Jamppi for a 2nd initiator and let Sayf OP and they could make it to Tokyo. Keeping Jamppi (whos past his golden days, lets be real) will probably hinder them from making tokyo which is like the d3ffo situation in 2022 all over again

jamppi is not what the team needs when Sayf is already there (Sayf used to play chamber main and is statistically superior to Jamppi, unless he transitions to smokes then both of those slots are gonna be wasted since they're putting sayf on kj for some dumbass reason)

ok but both those roles are already covered by other players (redgar & nAts), if he feels good on scan/flashes (depends on what sheydos would play) then i think keeping him could work, just that sayf needs to be on that duelist
